Paint Creek Trail

Short Overview:
The Paint Creek Trail site serves as an information hub for an 8.9-mile public trail, featuring maps, documents, news, a social media feed, and request forms. The redesign focused on creating a modern, mobile-friendly site that makes key resources (like trail maps and latest news) easy to access.
Some key features:
- Streamlined navigation and improved content organization
- Updated news/blog module with categories and featured posts
- Integrated social media feed for community engagement
- Improved accessibility with UserWay and WCAG-compliant design
The refreshed design highlights the trail's natural character, strengthens community connection, and ensures visitors of all abilities can engage with the site.
My role in this project began with client discovery—identifying goals, pain points with the old site, and clarifying the target audience. From there, I designed high-fidelity mockups to visualize the new direction and collaborated on revisions until we had a design that met their needs. Finally, I implemented the approved design into a fully functional CMS-based website, ensuring it was both user-friendly and easy for the client to manage in-house.
